A quick update re: my Patreon –
Iβve decided to go on hiatus from Patreon for a bit. The last couple of years have been tiring, and I want to take some time to navigate how Patreon can work for me and for my Patrons.
Iβll still be creating and writing, if you want to give me a follow on:

Thank you to all my Patrons for your incredible support over the years. Itβs meant so much to me and to #EnbyLife Journal.Β

So incredibly happy to announce βstand upβ has been awarded the Woollahra Digital Literary Award for Digital Innovation!
You can explore ‘stand up’ on the Backslash Lit website.
A huge thank you to judge Brett Osmond for choosing βstand upβ as the winner. Iβm honestly so blown away and delighted and grateful!
Thank you also to Woollahra Libraries, publisher Backslash Lit, and of course to Tegan Webb who helped me draft and redraft βstand upβ in Bitsy.
The trans experience is one that’s so often defined in media, by governments, as one simple / single / matter-of-fact / impersonal Medical Procedure.
βstand upβ is an interactive poem which explores this idea, and the notion of what it really means to be trans. Because being trans isn’t just about one single thing.
Being trans is about breathing, loving and being; and, in βstand upβ, it’s about finding small joys and knowing you are loved.

My Bitsy poem ‘stand up’ (published at Backslash Lit) has been shortlisted in the Woollahra Digital Literary Awards in the Digital Innovation category!!! ![]()

Reader’s Choice voting closes Fri 18 Nov, if you want to send a vote my way ![]()
