Graphic image with screen shot of ‘stand up’ - pixelated hearts and ibis in blue, white and pink colours - with black text reading ‘stand up is about providing a positive experience for trans and nonbinary players. How did you convey the theme of positive experiences, and why was this important to you? Rae: When I read stories about trans people, especially if they're written from a cishet perspective, there's a lot of trauma. There's a lot of focus on hardship. Don't get me wrong, sometimes being trans is not the best time, but at the end of the day, transphobia is other people's problem. And they make it our problem. I didn't want to focus on that.’
