White and coloured text on a black background that says: As cabbage moths flicker, a rabbit flits and startles, brushing fern thickets with a loud rustle. You sit on the dew-damp grass and wait for the rabbit to return. They nuzzle their brown face through foliage and begin sniffing the air. You wonder what they smell? Soft flowers. As the river bends, you think you can make out the tower in the distance. Or perhaps there’s more animals to see at the zoo. Or maybe it's time to head home.

Collaborative work in Voiceworks

‘Interact, Interweave’ is an interactive collaborative work produced as part of a digital writing workshop presented as part of the National Young Writers Festival earlier this year. Writers were given the template of a walk to write their own paths through, weaving through each other to create a piece whose structure mimics its geography.

This piece was written by Rei Cox, Imani Benfell, Anita Sanders and myself with Online EdCommers Rory Green, Lujayn Hourani and Carly Stone.

Check out the piece at Voiceworks online.
