An aside: the short story in Capricious, ‘Glitter and Leaf Litter’, is the piece I’m developing into a full length YA verse novel, thanks to my Wheeler Centre Hot Desk Fellowship. I love these wonderful non-binary characters so so much 🌈
I have a new short story called ‘Glitter and Leaf Litter’ in Capricious Issue 9: The Gender Diverse Pronouns Issue!
All ten stories in this issue use gender diverse pronouns, featuring short fiction by Nino Cipri, Bogi Takács, Lauren E. Mitchell, A.E. Prevost, Cameron Van Sant, Rem Wigmore, Penny Stirling, Hazel Gold, SL Byrne, and myself, edited by A.C. Buchanan, with cover art by Laya Rose.
I have a short story called ‘Glitter and Leaf Litter’ coming out in the Gender Diverse Pronouns issue of Capricious! SO HAPPY!
It’s a story of two enby teenagers who have sleepovers in an abandoned mansion and the ghostly friends they meet along the way. The story uses they/them pronouns and has: #friendshipgoals, cuddles and spooning, glitter, whimsy, and poetic descriptions. ❤
