Oh hey, cool zine news: I’m gonna have a virtual stall at Sticky Institute’s Festival of the Photocopier online! The site will launch on 20th February at 12pm AEDT at fotp.online. The website will be live for at least a year post-launch, which is really exciting for those who can’t pop by this weekend.

See you online, zinesters!
I have a new piece in WellBeing WILD about the LGBTQIA+ acronym, the changing nature of language over time, and the importance of identity and community. Grab a copy at a local stockist or online.

I have a new poem in the latest Vastarien Vol 3 Issue 2! It’s a found poem with Zalgo text called ‘your AI girlfriend named “it”’ and it’s based on phrases from the article ‘Sex robots with “coding errors” prone to “violence and could strangle humans” (David Rivers, The Daily Star, 2019). Grab a print or ebook version of Vastarien at: https://grimscribepress.com/issues/

I’ve had my very first gif poem published at Free Association! This poem was created in their Making Mobiles workshop last year.
‘now > winter’ was originally published in Aoetearotica Volume 7.
Check out my gif poem on the Free Association website.

‘Interact, Interweave’ is an interactive collaborative work produced as part of a digital writing workshop presented as part of the National Young Writers Festival earlier this year. Writers were given the template of a walk to write their own paths through, weaving through each other to create a piece whose structure mimics its geography.
This piece was written by Rei Cox, Imani Benfell, Anita Sanders and myself with Online EdCommers Rory Green, Lujayn Hourani and Carly Stone.
Check out the piece at Voiceworks online.

So pleased to have a fresh new poem in Blue Bottle Journal! Thanks to my neighbourhood for always providing good poetry fodder.
Have a read of the full poem here.

I have a new poem about polyamory in Aniko Press Issue 1: Unsung! Inspired by Zenobia Frost’s ‘Census Night’ (‘After the Demolition’, Cordite Books 2019). Grab your copy of Aniko Press via their website.

My soft poem about hand holding, friendship and platonic affection has been made into a bookmark by the wonderful post ghost press!
Grab yourself a copy at their Etsy store.
During this strange year, one of the positive highlights has been writing regularly for WellBeing WILD magazine. This month in their latest Issue 4, I have a piece about how the binary of ‘real life’ versus ‘online’ is full of grey areas (especially during COVID) and far more fluid than we think. Big thanks to Rory Green, Tegan Webb and Kieran Bicheno for their interviews for this piece 🙂
